Diamond Arctic Ice and the University of Iowa's Stead Family Children's Hospital are pleased to announce a new charitable partnership.

The Stead Family Children's Hospital has been dedicated to meeting the health care needs of children and families since 1919. As Iowa's only comprehensive children's facility, the hospital provides care for children from birth to young adulthood, including some of the most critically ill children. As part of an academic medical center, the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital also performs groundbreaking research to help solve the mysteries of childhood diseases, in addition to training the next generation of health care professionals.

Diamond Arctic Ice is one of the nation’s leading premium ice producers. Located in South Dakota, Diamond Arctic Ice recently revealed its Hawkeyes Game Day Experience, honoring the championship legacy of Iowa football. These Limited Edition packages include the world’s best premium ice in a beautiful display case commemorating classic victories and important moments in Hawkeyes history.

Under the partnership, a portion of the proceeds from each sale of the Hawkeyes Game Day Experience will support the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital.

“Diamond Arctic Ice is proud to announce our charitable partnership with the Stead Family Children's Hospital," said Senior Vice President Brooke Schloss. “We look forward to working together to give new hope to kids and families when they need it most."

“The UI Stead Family Children's Hospital is excited about our partnership with Diamond Arctic Ice,” said Executive Director Courtney Blind. “We look forward to working with Diamond Arctic Ice to help us continue to make strides in the cure for childhood brain cancer.”
